Hrant Dink katledileli üç yıl oldu ve onu öldürtenler hâlâ elini kolunu sallayarak dolaşıyor. Ayak işlerini gördürdükleri üç-beş adamı mahkemenin önüne attılar. Görevlilerinin doğru dürüst soruşturulmasını önlemek için devlet valisiyle, komutanıyla, siyasetçisiyle, yargıcı ve savcısıyla seferber oldu. Attıkları manşetlerle cinayete zemin hazırlayanlar, pişman olacakları yerde pişkin pişkin görevlerini sürdürdü.
Cinayete yol açan veya göz yumanlar, katilleri yetiştiren, onlara resmî görevler verenler, katili bayrağın önüne koyup kahramanlık görüntüleri çeken ve dağıtanlar... Hepsi korundu, kollandı ve hepsi hâlâ devlet görevlisi. Hrant için adaleti çok gören devlet onlara yeni rütbeler, terfiler bile verebilir.
Bütün bunlara bakarak soralım:
Hrant’ın katili kimdir?
Ve cevap verelim: Hrant’ı kollektif bir “resmî” irade öldürdü. Bu iradenin sahipleri gaddar, korkak ve hilebazdır. Ortaya çıkamaz, kendilerini gösteremezler.
Derin devletin dehlizlerinde ele geçirilen “Kafes” planını hatırlayın. Hrant’ın katledilmesinden “operasyon” diye söz edildiğini hatırlayın.
Onlar bizi de, Hrant’ın arkadaşlarını, sevenlerini, adalet arayanları da kendi karanlıklarına çekmeye çalışıyorlar. Mahkemelerin tozlu dosyaları arasında tıknefes olalım, duruşmalara gidip gelmekten usanalım, adalet aramaktan umudu keselim istiyorlar. Kesmeyeceğiz. Kesemeyiz.
Çünkü Hrant Dink cinayetinin arkasındaki “devlet eli” tereddüde yer vermeyecek şekilde yargı önüne çıkarılmadıkça, katillere yardım eden, göz yuman, raporları hasıraltı eden, katile kahraman muamelesi yapan polis amirlerinden, jandarma komutanlarından, valilerden, soruşturmaları engelleyen yargı üyelerinden hesap sorulmadıkça, hiçbirimizin geleceğinin güvence altında olmadığını biliyoruz.
Hrant bize her şeyden önce onurlu bir kardeşlik ideali bıraktı. Onurlu ve güvenli bir kardeşlik için, Hrant için adalet için, 19 Ocak’ta onun öldürüldüğü yerde buluşacağız. Adaletin, kardeşliğin hüküm sürdüğü, onurlu bir hayat istiyorsanız bizimle olun.

It’s been three years since Hrant Dink was murdered and those who masterminded the murder are still free. They only brought a couple of errand boys before the court as assassins and that’s it. The entire state with its governors, commanders, politicians, judges and prosecutors worked really hard to prevent an effective investigation of their own officers and subordinates. Those who paved the way for the murder by the headlines they put on their front page, kept their positions to date, brazen and indifferent, instead of feeling regret. Those who instigated the murder and condoned it, those who trained the assassins, made them public officials, took and serviced the pictures of the shooter in front of a Turkish flag posing as a hero... They were all protected, well taken care of and all of them are still serving as public officials. The state which denies justice for Hrant might even offer them new positions and promotions.
Having all these in mind, let’s ask the question:
Who killed Hrant Dink?
And let us give the answer. It was an “official” collective will that killed Hrant. Those who hold this will are brutal, coward and deceitful. They cannot come to light; they cannot dare to show themselves.
Remember the “Cage” plot unearthed in the depths of the deep state. Remember how Hrant’s murder was defined as an “operation”.
They are also trying to take us into their darkness; us - the friends and lovers of Hrant demanding justice. They want to leave us breathless in the dust of court files, they want us to get weary of following the trials, they want us to feel despair in our pursuit of justice. We will not do so. We cannot afford it.
Because we know very well that we will not have a safe and secure future either, unless “the hand of the State” behind the Hrant Dink murder is revealed and effectively brought to justice, unless those who assisted the assassin, who turned a blind eye to the murder and kept intelligence reports under rug swept, those who treated the assassin as a hero, police officers, gendarmerie commanders, governors, and the members of the judiciary who are precluding the investigations are called to account and held responsible. Above all, Hrant left us his legacy of a dignified brotherhood. For a dignified and sound brotherhood, for Hrant for justice we will meet on January 19th, at the place where he was murdered.
